Crews ready to fight for the title
Sun is shining on the Bay of Cannes and Day 4 of the Régates Royales de Cannes - Trophée Panerai. The race officials are waiting for the wind to set with a postponement ashore, but the forecast is for a southerly breeze of around 10 knots.
Conditions that could enable the classics to complete a coastal course and the Dragons, 5,50 and BOD three races.
Sailors meet in the race village to check and discuss rankings and results as today is the closing day for the one designs, whilst in the classics the contention for the Panerai Trophy overall scoreboard is still very much open. As a matter of fact, the Régates Royales are the last event of the Classic Yachts Mediterranean circuit with regattas in Antibes (France), Porto Santo Stefano and Imperia (Italy) and Cannes (France). Not to mention that the 40 years anniversary edition’s winner will remain in the event’s history books.
